About The Houston Harry Potter Meetup Group

Who we are -

HOUSE OF FLYING THEORIES!
We're just a fun mixed ages group (with members from all four houses) who love to theorize about our favorite characters, who they really are, events that take place, and what made them happen. What will happen next?!? There great thing about our group are the people who make it the way it. The group is truly lucky to consist of kind, outgoing, and really funny people.


What we do -

Basically, we plan events and then "meetup" at least once a month at a specified location, usually somewhere where we can discuss our latest ideas over some grub. Strictly Casual. Also, we gather on other occasions for say a movie night or just to meet with the friends we've made within our group. Our shared interest is what brings us together and also sets us apart! We celebrate JKR's talent!!


Who are members are -

This is an all ages group, but we like to be able to hold conversations. Talking about a sirius Quidditch stratagies with a 5 y/o is no easy feat.
So we do at least ask that you be 16 or up. We always welcome members who love the Potterverse as much as we do.


What we please ask of a member -

- Be at least 16 years of age or older.
- Live in the greater Houston area(s).
- Attend monthly meetups.



Our group is maintained lovingly by fans for fans and friends - we're all here to have fun.
If you do not plan to be an active participant with group, then this might not be for you.
